NEWSLETTER

Welcome to our November 2009 newsletter.  As usual, it is packed with exciting information about what has been happening at Little Adults; jobs, castings and up and coming events. Last month we had jobs and castings for Heinz, Nickelodeon, COI, Kit Kat, Dizzee Rascal Music Video, BBC Big Babies, plus many more…

November 2009 to January 2010

Congratulations!

To Curtis Blake, Aran Cruise, Simone Gutzmore, Angelique Roccia and Cayleigh Wynter who were booked to be in the Dizzee Rascal music video; Dirtee Cash. You all did an excellent job!

Big congratulations to Jade Ewen (Sugababe) and Rachel Adedeji (X Factor) for following their dreams and being a great inspiration to young people.  Both girls joined Little Adults when they were younger.

Also congratulations to all the mothers that have been bringing their babies to the BBC Big Babies shoot.. You have been totally dedicated and very co-operative. I have been getting a good response from the clients. Keep up the good work!

Little Adults Promotional Video

The video was filmed at Three Mills Film Studio.  It was a great success. We had some of our most successful children and adults from Little Adults being interviewed by well-known TV presenter, Yiolanda Koppel (ex-Nickelodeon Presenter) and children getting excellent tips about the skills required for TV presenting by Yiolanda.

Yiolanda said “Everyone was a real pleasure to work with, they were all very bright, confident and very keen to tell me about their experiences with 'Little Adults'

They all said that being with 'Little Adults' had given them lots of opportunities and helped build their confidence, not only in modelling but in day to day life”.

Donna Benjamin-Blair, owner of Little Adults, also trained some of the children, demonstrating the skills of modelling and the importance of posture and presentation.

Donna would like to say a “BIG THANK YOU”  to everyone: Yiolanda, the camera crew, the Little Adults staff and least but not least the models and parents. You were all…absolutely fabulous. X

In the near future we will be organising short courses in how to be a great TV presenter and Modelling/Deportment, if you are interested, please email us with your contact details (Name, address, contact numbers, age and what you are presently doing) and we will keep you up dated. This is open to anyone, even if you are not with Little Adults Model Agency. Watch this space! donna@littleadults.demon.co.uk

Alternative Hair Show - October 2009

The owner of the agency, Donna, is also a photographer. In March 2009, she worked on a job as a photographer for Godfrey Fitzgerald, a US stylist. Godfrey entered one of the photographs for the Alternative Hair Show and was selected to attend as one of the finalist. Over 2,000 people entered and only 10 finalists were able to demonstrate their work. What an excellent achievement!

Donna said It was an excellent show, the models were fantastic and to know that all the proceeds go to the Leukaemia Charity makes it such an overwhelming event to be part of”.

Ellis Ramsay

We have a little star amongst Little Adults

Ellis Ramsay is  nine years old and been street dancing at her dance school Loose Control’ since she was 5 years of age.

Ellis has danced at all different events; local town shows, community shows and fetes, but now she also dances at places like ‘Crystal Palace Youth Games’ and ‘Scoop More London’.  When she was seven she danced solo at the All England Street Dance Championships’ in Kent and took second place and her crew took first place.

She also danced at Stratford in Movements Factory ‘Dance Off 2008’ ‘Urban Energy’ two years running and the ‘UK Hip Hop Crew Championships’ plus many more events and competitions.

Street Tag 8

Ellis is part of a group called ‘Street Tag 8’, choreographer by Alex Stewart.  On Saturday 19th September 2009 they also went for an audition for Sky 1 ‘Lets Dance’.

They recently entered a local ‘Search For A Star’ talent competition.  50 people entered, 21 went into the finals and ‘Street Tag 8’ took second place.  Because of the group's fantastic dance skills, they got asked  to go live on air for a local radio station. Ellis has just recently come second in the ‘UK National Street Dance Championships 2009’.

Ellis said “It was great fun”.  She also went on to say “I love my dancing. I cannot imagine living without it and always say I am going to dance until I am 99”.

Ellis has just joined Little Adults. We feel she has great promotional potential. Ellis was also involved with the Little Adults Promotional video and we can definitely see why she has got so far!  Happy dancing!!!

Clients, if you are looking for an excellent dancer…Ellis is the girl for you!!!

We are affiliated with many reputable dance schools.  Please view Dance Schools for further information.
