Best Paid Child Model

Firstly, we would like to congratulate Megan Meaney for being our best paid child model this year. Megan has earned over £4,000 for a two hour voice-over. Well done and keep up the good work!

Best Paid Adult Model

Also a big congratulations to Funke Adesemoye for being our best paid adult model, earning £10,300 for a well-known mobile phone advert. We loved your dance moves on the commercial!

We asked Steven, one of our actors about his experience in the acting field.  This is what he had to say....

"The first time I did any work for Little Adults was for Yell.Com. I was taken to an enormous posh building in Surrey, and I was to become a Gladiator.

The audition for this was quite daunting as I had to have a bit of a wrestle, topless, with another supporting artiste called Mickey.

Anyway, I got the job!  And so had Mickey. We had to dress fully like Gladiators and walk passed the actors as they were doing a scene. And then, on the grounds of the building, have a fight. The star for these adverts was 80s television presenter Normski. He was full of life and energy. So much so that he started to improvise the script and make things up as he was going along. He had most of the crew in fits of laughter. The suit he was wearing was just so smart I felt a bit jealous in my loin cloth and sandals

Everyone was so professional and so friendly, at the end of the day I wanted to stay and do some more.

A couple of months later I was sent to another audition in the West End of London. This was for a NHS Anti-Smoking advert. I got a call a few days after asking me to attend a second audition. In this there was a delightful young girl called Lauren. We were asked to act as if we were father and daughter and we were sharing a car. Lauren had to get to a party, but I had left it a little too late. So we had to banter with each other. I never thought I would get the job - but I did!

Lauren was also successful following our audition. I was nervous, because I knew the cameras would be on our faces in close up. I had only ever done supporting artiste work when there was a crowd.

We had to make out we had just arrived at the party in our car (I cant drive!). And Lauren was anxious because I was a strict, but fair, father. But she knew I loved her. My thoughts had to be that if I gave up smoking I would be able one day to teach her to drive and buy her her first car.

On the next day of filming I was on my own. It was me phoning the Anti-Smoking people and I was asking them for an information pack. I also had to record with the sound man me saying "To teach her to drive". But this wasn't included.

These were the best two days of my acting career. And I have felt more confident when I attend other auditions as well. The pay was good too! And I've got Little Adults to thank for that."

New 2009-2010 Model Book

Our new 2009-2010 Model Book, will be available from 12th October 2009. We have got some fantastic kids and adults on the books. You will also be able to view the models on-line, with a PDF document which we have created for our models and clients to view.

Models, did you know?

Did you know that clients, do not book models on jobs, just because they look good! Competition is fierce out there and more and more clients, want children because of their cheeky character, their size (big and small), a talent they may have or just because they have glasses, freckles, ginger hair or are excellent in front of the camera. So don’t worry if you are not slight or do not have perfect teeth. There are so many jobs for every age, nationality and look!

Parents please remember that we need all the children’s new size sheets in between 1st – 7th October 2009. You can email or post the form to us.
