TESTIMONIALS

Here's what the Little Adults models and actors have to say ...
Pamper Day with a difference….. What a fantastic idea for a gift to the one you love, special occasion, Hen Party or just a treat for you and your friend….

My modelling experience….

I had just celebrated my 40th Birthday and as a special treat my friend took me out for the day.  I left my house feeling good about myself. I'd put on a little make-up on and my head was held high. I was whisked away to a photo studio where I was greeted by the photographer and the make-up artist which was a complete surprise! The photographer took me through the whole experience, taking pictures of me as the make-up artist transformed me. The photographer made me feel extremely comfortable but I was still a bit nervous, as I do not consider myself as photogenic but by the end of the photo shoot I felt like I had been a celebrity for the day and all the nervousness was gone! It was such a great feeling and extremely hard to put into words.

From the first picture to the last picture was a total transformation and an incredible experience! I left all my inhibitions behind and just enjoyed every minute of my day. This experience has truly touched my heart and I now have a wonderful memory for the rest of my life of a tremendous day and the proof is in the results of the pictures.

It is now four days later and I'm still on a high, I can't see me coming down anytime soon! Loved it!..

We first met Donna, the owner of Little Adults, back in 2001. Both of us had been working in the theatre for many years and when our daughter Millie came along quite a few people suggested that she should try some modelling. We thought Millie was a cute baby but then as we are her parents we were and are slightly biased! However, we thought it might be a bit of fun for her to do some modelling and if she could earn a little money to be put into her savings account then that would be great, what was there to lose.

Having seen many “Ballet Mothers” and “Pushy Parents” out there, we were absolutely certain that we did not want to be put in that category. If Millie was going to do this then it had to be fun for her, no pressure and with the right sort of agency. So we set about looking for an agency for Millie.

We looked around for various agencies and found an advert in a magazine for Little Adults. Ayumi spoke to Donna and arranged for an interview. What we particularly liked was that Donna wasn't just going to say yes to anyone who came along, she wanted to make sure that she could work with us as parents and she wanted to know why we wanted Millie to model and what we and Millie were expecting to get out of it. It was just as important to her to vet us as it was for us to vet her.

Ayumi is very good at getting a feel for a person and instantly liked the feel about Donna. There are lots of agencies out there, both large and small, but what you do get with Little Adults is a feeling of family, going to the office for a photo shoot is always like popping in to see family, always warm and welcome even when it is hectic with children in and out and all over the place.

When our second child Maiya came along we had no qualms about her joining as well especially when her first work was an advert for 'Family Tax Credits', how often do you get paid by the Inland Revenue! They have both thoroughly enjoyed the work they have done through Little Adults and when they are older they'll also be able to enjoy some of the fruits of their labours, when we let them at their bank accounts.

We couldn't recommend Donna and Little Adults highly enough. She always has time for us and is always friendly and welcoming but still very professional. The girls have enjoyed it so much, that now between them all they've managed to get mum and dad to go on the books as well.

Ashlea loves the camera and I thought what better way to help build her nest egg than getting her involved in some modelling work.

I researched into modelling and commercial agencies through the internet and Little Adults constantly popped up in results. Looking through their site I was impressed by their client list and with a couple of personal recommendations I decided to give them a go. My daughter's health and safety is paramount so Little Adults' professionalism was extremely important as you often hear horror stories.

Arriving at Little Adults studios I was greeted by friendly staff and Donna, the photographer, was great with Ashlea.  She took her time and allowed Ash to play with the toys LA provided and got some great shots. LA also discussed the legal terms with regards to child modelling, which is also available on their website.  They were very upfront and honest. LA's models well being is very important to them and this gave me the confidence I needed to sign Ashlea up. I have already recommended LA to friends.

I was recently in a NHS advert promoting the awareness of cervical cancer and I was in lots of magazines such as O.K., More, New, Heat, Grazia and many more. I did two photo shoots for it, one was in a gym with one other girl and one was at a park with two other girls. The photographer and the crew were nice and I met new people as well. The advert also appeared on internet sites like Facebook and Hotmail and is still being advertised in schools and colleges.

I did the Dizzee Rascal, Dirtee Cash music video. It was a very long day. I arrived at 2.00pm and waited around until 4.30pm for rehearsals. Filming actually started at 7.00pm. Later on we met Dizzee Rascal, he was good with the people having photos etc. It was a fun fulfilled day and a great experience for building up my portfolio.  Met loads of new people.

Curtis

I just finished filming the Dizzee Rascal music video. Definitely a different experience as I had to  hold long sticks with fire at the top. I was a bit scared but the message made my feel better because his lyrics was not to follow drug dealers, etc., which I thought was really good! I really enjoyed it because everyone was seen in the video. Fun day, would love to do it again!

Simone

Really good experience. Rehearsals were long. Wardrobe was old fashioned football kit. Was in a parade. Really good production team. Met really nice people.

"The first time I did any work for Little Adults was for Yell.Com. I was taken to an enormous posh building in Surrey, and I was to become a Gladiator.

The audition for this was quite daunting as I had to have a bit of a wrestle, topless, with another supporting artiste called Mickey.

Anyway, I got the job!  And so had Mickey. We had to dress fully like Gladiators and walk passed the actors as they were doing a scene. And then, on the grounds of the building, have a fight. The star for these adverts was 80s television presenter Normski. He was full of life and energy. So much so that he started to improvise the script and make things up as he was going along. He had most of the crew in fits of laughter. The suit he was wearing was just so smart I felt a bit jealous in my loin cloth and sandals.

Everyone was so professional and so friendly, at the end of the day I wanted to stay and do some more.

A couple of months later I was sent to another audition in the West End of London. This was for a NHS Anti-Smoking advert. I got a call a few days after asking me to attend a second audition. In this there was a delightful young girl called Lauren. We were asked to act as if we were father and daughter and we were sharing a car. Lauren had to get to a party, but I had left it a little too late. So we had to banter with each other. I never thought I would get the job - but I did!

Lauren was also successful following our audition. I was nervous, because I knew the cameras would be on our faces in close up. I had only ever done supporting artiste work when there was a crowd.

We had to make out we had just arrived at the party in our car (I cant drive!). And Lauren was anxious because I was a strict, but fair, father. But she knew I loved her. My thoughts had to be that if I gave up smoking I would be able one day to teach her to drive and buy her first car.

On the next day of filming I was on my own. It was me phoning the Anti-Smoking people and I was asking them for an information pack. I also had to record with the sound man me saying "To teach her to drive". But this wasn't included.

These were the best two days of my acting career. And I have felt more confident when I attend other auditions as well. The pay was good too! And I've got Little Adults to thank for that."

A few weeks after I joined Little Adults Modelling Agency I received a call from them informing me of an audition for a Nokia advert. I was really excited as well as nervous as it was so soon after joining the agency; however I was pleased to know that the agency was promoting me with immediate effect.

On the day of the audition there was so many people auditioning for the main featured role, however I didn’t let that worry me. I was asked to do different and spontaneous dance movements; something out of the ordinary that would make people laugh and say ‘wow!’ A day after the audition I received a call from Little Adults informing me that the producers have requested that I attend a recall. On the day of the recall I had to do something similar to the initial audition, however this time I had to be dressed up in an evening dress and heels. Nevertheless two days later I was over the moon when I received a call from Little Adults informing me that the Producers would like to use me for the main featured role for the advert; it was so exciting.

On the day of shooting I had a fantastic time, everything was so well organised and the producers and director were so friendly and welcoming. They wasted no time what so ever, we were done within a couple of hours and I have to say I worked up a sweat on the day; I danced a lot and I loved every moment of it.

The advert can be viewed on www.youtube.com  (Nokia comes with music advert dancing with myself, I am the girl in the green dress).

I feel privileged and proud to be part of Little Adults Modelling Agency and look forward to continue working with them in the near future.

Thank you Little Adults!

My time at Little Adults was fantastic. During my time there, I have had slime chucked over me (more than once), met the presenters of Nickelodeon, and been a guest and the Kids Choice Awards twice (all in 3 years). I have been in a range of adverts, from an anti-bullying ad, to 'slime across the UK', to promoting the Kids Choice Awards, and every one was brilliant! The best part was meeting stars like Danni Minogue, McFly and John Cena.

Thanks Little Adults for a great time.

I have been with Little Adults since 2001. They are an excellent agency. The owner, Donna, really cares about her models. She always gives good advice and is very encouraging. I have had lots of jobs; Nickelodeon, Music Video, Eastenders, plus more. I was also the main character for the TV commercial Dairylea Lunchables.  I have recently just done an advert for the London Film Festival. It really helps to build up your confidence and the money is good too!

Jamel

I did a Clarks catwalk fashion show in Belgium. I really enjoyed it! I enjoyed meeting other children and working with the producers. I feel a lot more confident and my Mum says the school tell her that I am much more confident since I have started modelling!

Anna

I worked on a British Gas commercial which was good but my best job was going on stage and presenting an award to Georges Sampson at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. I met lots of kids! I felt like a star, I had a fabulous day and the people were really nice. It really increased my confidence!

Claire

I did a voice over and it was really good. Built up my confidence. I had lots of fun. Great people to work with! I would love to have the opportunity to work with the company again!

I have worked for Nickelodeon; Big Green Commercial and photo shoot, Nickelodeon Choice Awards and British Gas Advert. It’s a great feeling when your friends see you on TV. Makes you feel like a superstar. It’s a great experience and it’s a bonus when you get treats!

I had to do an audition for Nickelodeon. I was really nervous but it was a nice feeling when I was told by the Agency that I got the job. I was really happy to hear the news! I got along with everyone very well. I had lots of fun and met lots of famous people. I had to go in the slime pit, which was very exciting but mess.

I love modelling! I always have a good time. I have lots of fun with the kids and working with the producers. When I did a Clarks Advert I had to go to Croydon and work for two days on the shoot. Had a brilliant time!

I've been with Little Adults since 2007 and since that time I've had different auditions, which involved many of the stuff I like. I have also acted in Silent Witness (BBC) and Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards Adverts.  Doing many auditions gave me loads of experience so that I become better in every audition. I would still love to have more auditions and to get more jobs.

Ishon

I did a Boomerang Advert for Liquid TV and I was at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. I had a brilliant time. I had to hand over an award to William Moseley. I had lots of fun with the children and also with the celebrities. I now have a great selection of autographs.

I did a shoot for Godfrey Fitzgerald, a US stylist. The experience was amazing and the photo shoot went really well. The photographer, hair stylists and make up artists were all really friendly and I think the client was pleased with the photos that were taken. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and look forward to continuing with future assignments from Little Adults.

Navdeep

I have been on loads of auditions. It helps to boost my confidence!

Darnell and Mum

When Darnell was short-listed for the ‘British Gas’ advert, I was really excited, deep down I was secretly wishing he would get the job. When we received the call to confirm that he had been chosen it was like winning the lottery. Darnell remained ‘cool & calm’ unaware that I was calling friends and family to let them know.

The day of the advert was very exciting. The film crew were all very welcoming and friendly. Darnell really enjoyed the whole experience.

It was a fun filled day after being shown around the set. Filming was hard work due to the precision of work involved. I was filming for approximately 1.5 hours but my scene was only 6 seconds but overall my experience was enjoyable but also quiet tiring.

Ben and Mum

My first job was a Nickelodeon Advert: See Something Say Something - Anti-Bullying Campaign. I had loads of fun and it was very interesting due to the fact it was anti bullying. Also met lots of new friends.

My next job was for a Zoom Star Advert. Filming was all day and it was very hard work but such good fun. Involved lots of dancing which was all improvised.

Then I did The Lucky Charm, short film, it was two days of filming. I was given a script at the casting which we had to learn and speak with an American accent. The crew were fun and helped with our lines and directions.
